Every year on 26 May, National Sorry Day is celebrated in Australia. This day is celebrated since from 1998. On this day Australian people come on streets by raising the flags of Sorry Day.
But For what those people rise flag???
During the 20th century, the Australian government make a policy, due to which all the children to be separated from their families, with the intention of assimilating then into white Australian culture which is known as "Stolen Generation". And that day is known as National Sorry Day. On every 26 May Australian people come on street and rise flags for their mistake of stolen generation.
