Why Indian Government is Banning Apps???

Recently government of India bans many apps and there were around 200 apps which were banned in India and these apps were not the small apps but there were many big apps which was banned like PubG, TikTok etc. and these were the apps which was making much profit from India. 

Few days ago Indian government again bans 43 another apps. Initially when apps were banned then many people said that it is because of conflict between India and China as almost all the banned apps was created in China or have a type of relation with China but this was not the reason because when second time other apps were banned then there was also many apps which was not from China and Indian government give the reason that this is all for security purpose as such apps was taking personal data from the mobile phone and also take inappropriate permissions which are not even related with the app.

It is Indian Cyber Crime Coordination of Ministry of Home Affairs which is an organisation and take step to ban such apps. The 43 Apps which are banned just recently are complete Chinese apps and somewhere this time, there is a border tension for this. The major apps which are banned are the product of Alibaba which is a one of biggest Chinese company and it also invest much in India and to ban the products of this company is one of the biggest step by the Indian government. There are also such apps which have more than 200 Million downloads but still are banned in India.

But there is a question that why Indian government is banning these apps in steps?? The reason for this is that other countries had come out from the boom of social media and Internet but it is still developing in India and recently more than 800 Million users came on Internet and government is also realising that the laws for Internet and social media by India government are not much strong and there is also none of criteria to implement laws as if any apps did a wrong job then it takes too much time for legal procedures, so before such type of mis-happening government is taking all the steps.

India government is also implement such type of rules on other sectors like OTT platform as in India now OTT platforms also have to follow the censor board which is out of limit as in future if government India continues such type of rules then platforms like Youtube where there is individual creators also have pass their videos from censor board which is not a good thing as it stops then freedom of speech.

Rules and Regulations are necessity for every country especially for those which have huge number of population on Internet but it should have in limit.
