After spending a large day it was night and we ate food and as usual after taking food, I slept down because I was very tired and also in the next morning I have to wake up early for my work. Around 2 am my mother starts shouting like thief, thief, thief.... as she saw a thief in a balcony from the window. Because of her voice I also wake up and in panic I also starts shouting same and I hear the sound of footsteps of thief as the thief starts running and he also ran away but we were not sure about that and in a hope that someone will caught him we shouted much but ironically no one wake up in our society, may be the reason was it was 2 am and at that time the sleep is very deep and also that why thieves decide that time. My sister also woke up with my voice when I started shouting and dogs in our street also starts barking but none of human woke up at that time. We also didn't have contact number of any person in our society because one year ago we shifted their but my mother has close relationship with our neighbours but we didn't have their contact number also. So after some time we calm down and also we all there were panic because if once thief enters in our house then he can do whatever he want with us.
We never slept that night and in next morning we tell this in our society but sarcastically our neighbour said that he hear the voice but he thought that it was dogs in the street who saw a cat and starts barking, such a stupid he was. All the person in our society gave their contact number to us and we also gave our contact number to them for such type of situation. Basically if a thief once ran away from our society then what were the possibilities that he came once again in our society or in our house. There were much possibilities that he came back because there was only our family who lives alone as my father didn't live at home because he was an army man and I was also small as my age was around 13 years and my sister was smaller than me, so there possibilities.
Because of that night we did much things next day like we cover our surrounding with light and buy many locks to lock every outdoor door and put two locks in every door which is fro going outside. I decided that I will not sleep night and work as night guard and I do it for three-four nights but because of schools and other things I get very tired at night due to which I also sleep but my mother never sleep at night because she saw full scene as she was the only one who saw that thief and that scene was printed in her mind.
After a month, one night my mother sleep down and also that thief come once again in house but this time suddenly I woke up. He came in our balcony and I know that I have to start shout but I was seeing that what he was trying to do. In our house there was door in balcony and in the side of door there was window and he cut the net of window with his tool and put his hand inside to open the door but suddenly I move toward the balcony and hold his hand tightly and then starts shouting, my mother wake up, my neighbour wake up and all the people in our society wake and rush toward home. I leave that thief and people caught that thief. I didn't know that how I do that as what come in my mind I do that only. That thief gave the same reason for coming again in our house that we live alone at home without any man.
But from that day I became the man of my house after my father.
