Now recently Indian government is also taking action on other apps which are Chinese Apps or Apps who did collaboration with Chinese companies and this time the list which comes out has more than 250 Apps including PubG and Resso. After ban on 59 Apps, Indian government blocked 47 more Apps.
But now the problem which comes out is that in the newest list PubG is also included. Many people didn't know that but Indian market for PubG is very huge as 24% of PubG's lifetime downloads is from India in which there are 175 Billion users of PubG from India. And if PubG is included in the list then to save its market from India PubG can do anything as on the Google Play Store PubG also changes its name to Hindi language and they has also updated their privacy policies. The Apps which are banned till now they all are because of privacy and security. For Indian Army officials PubG is fully banned with also some of other social media apps like facebook, instagram and over 89 apps are banned for Indian army.
These all apps take data from mobile phones as they said that it is for advertisement and they want information for that but no one know which tyep of data these apps are taking from mobile phones.
Talking about PubG then it only take two permission from mobile phone which are microphone and storage and PubG also can't say that they are taking data for advertisement because there are not any ads come on PubG. There are very less data which PubG is collecting from mobile phones but it is taking permission for microphone and with this many things can happen and this is that thing which you also can't stop.
Almost all the apps which are banned from India are from China and PubG is that apps which is not completely Chinese. The actual company which developed it and run it is Krafton Bluehole company and that company is from South Korea but the company which makes its promotions and marketing and distribute it is a Chinese company, which is Tencent. So with the collaboration of two companies this game is formed. But PubG is also not very secured app as privacy in the devices of Apple is very strong and recently iOS 14 is also updated in which many step were taken for privacy and now when you run PubG in Apple devices then it show notification of PubG Mobile would like to find and connect to devices on your local network which is bit off but it can be disallowed.
PubG with 53 other apps are also taking data from mobile's clipboard in which all the keywords which you searched on your mobile is stored and when Indian government take action against other app then these apps updated that.
Mainly actions are taking against only Chinese apps and if PubG got banned then its original company will collaborate with other companies like Gameloft, Supecell etc.. leaving Tencent because if it banned from India then it should face a huge downfall.
