Till 1800 India was one of the richest country in the world and there was no any other country who can compete with India in GDP. As India has GDP highest rates and only India has 25% of share in the global trade of textile.
Till 1700 the World GDP was $371 Million and only India holds up $90 Million. India was full of precious resources due which India was on the top and in the world diamonds was also firstly found in India. And in India only Punjab holds up 40% of GDP in the Maharaja Ranjit Singh Empire.
India had most of precious things also like Peacock Throne which costs almost $804 Million and precious diamond in the world, "Kohinoor" which is priceless till now.
But how question arises that how India lost all these things???
When the British rule starts in India in 1800 then Britisher claim all these thing and almost $45 trillion of treasury was looted from India with the peacock throne. And Kohinoor was gifted to Queen Elizabeth by King Duleep Singh, son of Maharaja Ranjit Singh who was king of Punjab.
During 18th Century, many states of India was owned by different kings, the are covered by those kings are called Rajya like Punjab is owned by Maharaja Ranjit Singh, Delhi is owned by Aurangzeb and Hydrabad was owned by Asaf Jha VI.
When Vasco Da Gama find route to India then he realises that India's is very precious country and the weather of India was also very good according to other countries. And Vasco Da Gama goes back and ask everyone about India. Till 1750 people from many countries starts coming to India to spend their holidays in beautiful weather and in precious things but in the starting of 1800 people from britain also start come to India, not to spend their holidays but for rule over India.
Britisher came India and start their rule. From the south and bottom part of India they start ruling over the states as they also fought with Kings and many kings also falls down on their knees in front of Britishers. They rule over India very rapidly and start ruling India from south to the North or from bottom to the top and rule over Delhi very early as Delhi was the capital of India. As they rule of Delhi many people lose their hope but people regain their hope because of Maharaja Ranjit Singh as after many tries the Britisher failed to rule over Punjab because the king of Punjab was Maharaja Rajit Singh which was one of the powerful King at that time. But after the death of Maharaja Ranjit Singh they also start ruling the Punjab.
After that Britishers rule over India for 100 years. At that time it is also said for Britisher that there is no night for them because they have ruled over 22 countries and almost Britisher were present at every corner of the world.
Many freedom fighter like Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Lala Lajpat Rai of India fight against this British rule and in 1949 India become republic but after many mis-happens were happened in India like partition of Pakistan which leads to many deaths.
Today India has only 2.5% of share in the global trade of textile, India loses many precious thing from it. They all loss these due to less of power as Indians fall weak in from of Britishers. Become topper is not a big thing but remaining at top is big thing.
