In the world many things happens and all the information of these things are covered by media or journalists. At many extents press face many problems from pubic or from government.
The Day 3rd May is considered as reminder to governments for the respect to press freedom and this day also reflects media profession. On 3rd May World Press freedom Day is celebrated. It is also a day which remember us those journalists who lost their lives in the pursuit of stories.
Every year, on 3rd May it remembered the fundamental principle of press freedom, it is evaluated the freedom for press in the world, to defend media from attack on their independence and pay tribute to those journalists who lose their lives. World Press Freedom Day is proclaimed by the UN general assembly in 1993.
It is day to encourage all the media and press, and to assess the state of press freedom worldwide.
